Expansion
There will be a separate commission for pharmacy colleges on the lines of the National Medical Commission (NMC) for medical colleges. The Union Health Ministry has released the draft of the National Pharmacy Commission Bill 2023 and sought suggestions from the public on it. According to this bill, all pharmacy colleges will be rated. There will also be an evaluation and rating board under the National Pharmacy Commission, only after whose recognition the new college can be established.

This year, in August, the National Nursing and Midwifery Commission Bill-2023 and the National Dental Commission Bill-2023 were also passed in the Parliament.
