Let us tell you that through this entrance examination, admission is available in classes 6 and 9 of Sainik Schools. This All India Exam is conducted for admission in 33 Sainik Schools across the country. Sainik schools are residential i.e. where there are living arrangements and they are affiliated with CBSE board. Here candidates are prepared for National Defense Academy, Indian Naval Academy and other training academies.
The last date to apply for this entrance exam is 16 December 2023. Applications can be made till 5 pm on this date.
what is the qualification
The eligibility is according to the class, like for admission in class 6th, the age of the candidate should be between 10 to 12 years as on March 31, 2024. Talking about the eligibility for Class 9, the age of the candidate should be between 13 to 15 years as on March 31, 2024. It is necessary that he has passed class 8th from a recognized board. Admission is open for girls but it will depend on the availability of seats.
when will the exam be
All India Sainik School Entrance Examination 2024 will be conducted on 21 January 2024. If this OMR exam is held then it will be conducted in pen and paper mode. MCQ type questions will be asked in it and the exam will be conducted in 186 centers of the country.
how much fee will have to be paid
To fill the form of this entrance examination, candidates of general category, ward of defense personnel-ex-servicemen and OBC category will have to pay a fee of Rs 650. Whereas the fee for SC, ST category is Rs 500.
