GATE 2024 Application Modification: Indian Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore will accept changes in the application for GATE exam from today i.e. Tuesday, November 7, 2023. Those candidates who have filled the form of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering and want to make any kind of correction in some parts of it, they can make the application correction by visiting the official website. To do this, the address of the official website is – gate2024.iisc.ac.in. Changes can be made in the applications by visiting this website.
This much fee will have to be paid
There are only some parts of the application which can be improved. Like category, photo, signature, educational information, address and the paper for which they are applying. The fee for improvement is different in every area. For making changes in name, date of birth, examination city and paper, a fee of Rs 500 will have to be paid. Whereas for changing gender or category from female to other, like from SC to ST, the fee is Rs 1400.
This is the last date
The window for making corrections in the application will open from today and corrections can be made in the applications till 11 November 2023. Whatever change has to be made, do it within this time limit, you will not get a chance after this.
Exam will be held on these dates
Let us tell you that GATE Exam 2024 will be conducted on 3, 4, 10 and 11 February 2024. This will be a computer based examination i.e. the exam will be taken in CBT mode. If we talk about timing, the exam will be held in two shifts. The first shift i.e. morning session will be from 9.30 am to 12.30 noon. The second shift will be from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
How to make corrections in the application
To make corrections in the application, first go to the official website i.e. gate2024.iisc.ac.in. Here you will see GOAPS portal link, click on it. By doing this a new page will open. Enter your email ID and password on this page. Now click on the option of edit application form. After this, make the necessary changes and press the submit button.
