Karthik did not give up even after failure, passed UPSC exam thrice

IAS Success Story: Thousands of youth have the dream of becoming an IAS. For this, lakhs of youth try their luck by sitting in the examination, but luck shines only for a few youth. The journey of IAS is full of challenges. The one who overcomes these challenges is sure to become an IAS. Karthik Jivani is one such youth who overcame challenges, he did not give up even after failure and became an IAS.

Karthik Jivani, a resident of Surat, Gujarat, decided to appear for the civil services examination while studying engineering and gave his first attempt but unfortunately he failed. He did not give up on this but when he analyzed himself, he found that it would be better to take the exam only with full preparation. His analysis worked and he cleared this exam not once but thrice, thus fulfilling his dream of becoming an IAS. He did his 12th from Science stream, after which he appeared for JEE Mains exam and took admission in IIT Bombay.

First exam passed in year 2017

Karthik passed the civil services examination for the first time in the year 2017 with 94 rank. Despite being an IPS, he continued preparing for this exam. In the year 2019, he once again passed the exam with 84 rank. On one hand, Karthik was undergoing IPS training but he was also passionate about becoming an IAS. He took 15 days leave during training and concentrated on studying for 10 hours each. The result of this hard work was that in the year 2020, Karthik appeared for the exam again and fulfilled his dream by passing the IAS exam with 8th rank. With this he also won the title of the highest ranked youth of Gujarat.

Prepare for IAS like this

If you also want to become an IAS like Karthik, then include two things in your preparation, one is hard work and the other is smart work. Both these things are very important for the Civil Services Examination. Be dedicated and determined towards your studies. Make discipline a part of your daily life. Focus on your favorite subject and prepare for it first. Increase interest by gaining knowledge about other subjects.
