JEE Main 2024
There is important news for the candidates who are preparing for JEE Mains. National Testing Agency i.e. NTA has made major changes in the syllabus of JEE Main. NTA has removed 8 topics from Physics and 9 topics from Chemistry. At the same time, some topics have also been removed from Maths. In these, various topics including linear equations, Bernoulli trials, binomial co-efficient, binomial distribution, scalar and vector triple product have been removed.
Please note that the 9 topics removed from Chemistry are still included in the JEE Advanced syllabus, they have not been removed from here. In such a situation, the candidates who qualify for JEE Advanced after JEE Mains will have to study the topics removed from Mains while preparing for Advanced.
Let us tell you that the syllabus of Physics is almost equal for JEE Mains and Advanced. In such a situation, it has now become easy for students to take admission in NIT, but it is difficult to succeed in IIT entrance exam.

Apply for JEE Main by this day
If you are going to participate in JEE Main Session-1, then let us tell you that the last date of application for the entrance exam is 30 November 2023. JEE Main Session-1 exam is scheduled to be held on 24 January and 1 February 2024, while Session-2 exam will be held on 1 April 2024 and 15 April 2024. Notice of exam city will be given in the second week of January. Whereas, admit cards will be issued 3 days before the exam date. Whereas the result of JEE Main Session 1 will come on 12th February.
Other information
Please note that there are two papers in JEE Mains. Admission to BE/B.Tech is done through Paper-1. Whereas, Paper-1 is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering courses (BE/B.Tech) in NITs, IIITs, CFTIs and other participating state governments funded/recognized institutions/universities. JEE Mains exam is also an eligibility test for JEE Advanced, which is for admission in IITs. Whereas, Paper-2 is conducted for admission to B.Arch and B. Planning courses in the country.
