Odisha Vande Bharat Express: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday flagged off the ‘Vande Bharat’ Express train on the Puri-Rourkela route. This is the second Vande Bharat Express of Odisha. Prime Minister Modi flagged off this train through video conference. On the occasion, Odisha Governor Ganeshi Lal, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and many MLAs were present at Bhubaneswar railway station.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan interacted with students during his journey from Bhubaneswar to Angul in Odisha’s second Vande Bharat Express. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said, “This is our Prime Minister’s way of working, it is done at speed, on a large scale and with great ambition and new aspiration.”

Pradhan said, “I am very happy today, Vande Bharat Express is passing through my village…It (Vande Bharat) will connect Odisha and increase employment opportunities for the youth of Odisha…will provide transportation facilities to the people , and this train is for the common people”
