The recruitment process of Agniveers under Army’s new Agneepath scheme started from Friday in Kotdwar city of Pauri district in Uttarakhand. Agniveer General Duty, Agniveer Technical, Agniveer for Garhwal Rifle under Army at Victoria Cross Gabbar Singh Camp located at Kotdwar here. This recruitment is being done for six categories of posts including Clerk and Storekeeper. Kotdwar Municipal Corporation Commissioner Kishan Singh Negi said that full care is being taken that the youth do not face any kind of problem. Free food and lodging arrangements have been made in Modi Rasoi to the candidates by the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated this kitchen on Wednesday. A total of 63,360 candidates from seven districts of Garhwal division have registered for the recruitment process. The recruitment rally for Almora, Bageshwar, Nainital and Udhamsinghnagar districts of Kumaon region will be held in Ranikhet from August 20 while for Champawat and Pithoragarh in Pithoragarh from September 5 to 12.
Recruitment process started from Hisar
Earlier the recruitment process started in many districts of Haryana. A recruitment rally was organized under the Agneepath scheme in Hisar on 12 August, in which a large number of candidates participated. A big recruitment rally was started from 12 August at the Army Recruitment Office in Hisar, Ambala range of Haryana.
Let us inform that this year, a total of 46000 Agniveers are to be recruited under the Agneepath scheme, out of which 40000 will be recruited in the Army. So far, around 23 lakh youths have registered across the country. According to the information, the Indian Army will have a total of 85 recruitment rallies across the country.
