CBSE Board Result: The High Court has directed the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to declare the result of class X student. Due to non-payment of fees during the Corona epidemic, the student was deprived of attending the class from the school.
Justice Sanjeev Narula, in his order, observed that he is of the view that the attendance criterion should be fulfilled as a pre-condition for appearing in the examinations and this condition should not ordinarily be diluted. But the court will also have to take into account the fact that the corona pandemic affected many families and they lost their source of income. The Court observed that the compulsion of not paying the fee directly affected the petitioner, as he did not have access to attend the online classes. As such, the petitioner student is entitled to be exempted from the condition of fulfilling the attendance requirement. Making this observation, the court has directed CBSE to declare the result of the student by August 23.
