TMBU PAT Result: Student organizations protested on Tuesday, alleging rigging in the pre-PhD result of Tilkamanjhi Bhagalpur University (TMBU). The students created a ruckus by reaching the examination controller’s office. The students demanded a high level inquiry into it. After the assurance of the controller of examination, the students left from there and then handed over the memorandum to the officials in the registrar’s office and proctor’s office. At the same time, after the uproar by the students, the interview and all other processes have been canceled till further orders. Controller of Examinations Dr. Arun Kumar Singh said that on the orders of the Vice-Chancellor, the entire process of interview of PAT has been canceled now. The work will be done according to the instructions given further.
On Tuesday, a delegation of students led by AISA University Convenor Praveen Kushwaha and Chhatra Yuva Sangharsh Samiti state president Asif Ali reached the university and raised slogans against the university in front of the administrative gate. The students again demanded the evaluation of the copy of PAT. The students said that neither the Vice-Chancellor nor the Pro-Vice-Chancellor lives in the university. As a result, there is no one to listen to the problems of the students. Apart from this, if other officers are asked, they assure to send the file to Muzaffarpur.
Decision on revaluation soon
The student organization held talks with the controller of examinations regarding this. In this, through the Controller of Examinations, the Vice-Chancellor was talked about, immediately the date of the pre-PhD viva has been postponed. At the same time, in the matter of re-evaluation also, the Vice-Chancellor will give a decision soon. University coordinator of AISA, Praveen Kushwaha, who was present on the occasion, said that if the demand of PAT students is not fulfilled by tomorrow, then the student organization AISA will carry out further agitation in the interest of students. For this the Vice-Chancellor in-charge of the University will be responsible.
University work will not run from Muzaffarpur
The students said that the Vice Chancellor is doing the work of TMBU from Muzaffarpur which is not possible. A demand has been made from the Raj Bhavan that till the permanent Vice-Chancellor comes, the local officer should be given the charge of the Vice-Chancellor. So that the work of the university can run smoothly. The university does not want a distant vice-chancellor. On the occasion student leaders Hemant Kushwaha, Priranjan Kumar Jha, Prashant Kumar, Vikas Kumar, Deepak Kumar, Ankit Kumar, Deepkar Lal, Mohd. Sadiq Hussain, Kumar etc. were present.
