Hindu Study: Recently Banaras Hindu University (BHU)A new MA in Hindu Studies, Varanasi (MA) The course has started. BHU vice-chancellor Vijay Kumar Shukla inaugurated the course and said that it is a subject program called National Education Policy, 2020. (National Education Policy) Designed accordingly. In this sequence, Prof. Hareram Tripathi, Vice Chancellor of Sampurnanand Sanskrit University, Varanasi, told that under the National Education Policy, Sampurnanand Sanskrit University (Sampurnanand Sanskrit University) has decided to start many employable courses. The Vice Chancellor of Banaras Hindu University, Vijay Kumar Shukla had told that the university is starting a two-year Hinduism course with 40 seats.
Vice Chancellor Prof Hareram Tripathi has written a reminder letter to the Governor and Chancellor Anandiben Patel. In the letter sent by the Vice-Chancellor to the Raj Bhavan, it was said that M.A. (Hindu Study) The admission process could not be started due to non-acceptance of the course till now. The Vice Chancellor has requested the Chancellor to grant permission to conduct the course so that a course called MA can be started in the university.

According to media reports, the two-year post graduation level Hindu studies course will be in four semesters. In this, Indian philosophy, scriptures, Vedas, Puranas, Ramayana, Mahabharata, linguistics, military science based on the characteristics and traditions of Hinduism, along with other texts have been included.

This course includes MA (Hindu Studies), Yoga Courses Diploma Courses at Undergraduate and Undergraduate, Post Graduation and Diploma level. On November 11, 2021, the Vidya Parishad also gave approval to these courses. In this sequence the approval of the Executive Council has been obtained.
