College Reopen: Notification was issued on Monday to operate the BHU, which is opening on the basis of roster, at full capacity during the Kovid period. In the notification issued by the Assistant Registrar (General Administration) Ashok Kumar Sharma on Monday, instructions have been given to ensure 100% attendance of employees in all departments from Wednesday. However, a decision has not yet been taken on the conduct of classes.
The roster system was in force in BHU during the Kovid period. In all faculties, departments and offices, 50 per cent staff were commuting and 50 per cent were working from home. In the notification issued on Monday night, all the teachers, officers and employees have been asked to give 100% attendance at their workplace as before. Public Relations Officer Dr. Rajesh Singh said that the concerned Head of Departments and in-charges have also been instructed to strictly follow the Kovid protocol during this period. A decision has not yet been taken on the conduct of offline classes. After the orders of the higher authorities, soon a decision will be taken on their operation.
