Students can do courses like Forest Management, Commercial Forestry, Forest Economics, Wood Science and Technology, Wildlife Science, Veterinary Science etc. after doing B.Sc. Forestry course. Bachelor’s course is of three years duration. After B.Sc, one can easily get admission in MSc. After master’s degree, students can do MPhil or PhD. There are many institutes which offer PG Diploma in Forest Management course. After Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, you can also appear in the Indian Forest Services exam conducted by UPSC.

After doing forestry course, the candidate gets an opportunity to work in both government and private sectors. Corporate houses require forest students for tasks like timber plantation.
