Sainik School Admission : Sainik School Society (SSS) is in the process of developing an automated system to provide the facility of online counseling to the students seeking admission in 100 new Sainik Schools. The Ministry of Defense gave this information on Sunday.
The ministry said that the automated e-counselling system will bring complete transparency in the enrollment process. “In line with the government target of setting up 100 new Sainik Schools, the Sainik School Society (SSS) is in the process of developing an automated system for e-counselling,” the ministry said in a statement.
The ministry said that the e-counseling system will be cost-effective and easy to use for all stakeholders – schools and students. According to the ministry, students will have to register and verify their details by clicking on a link provided on a web portal. The ministry said, “Students will have to select 10 schools for allotment. Accordingly, the school allotment will be done through an automated system keeping in view the ranking of the students and the selected school and the result will be announced through the e-counselling portal.
