Jharkhand Teacher Recruitment News: New appointment of 2500 Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor will start in the state universities. In this, preparations are being made to withdraw the advertisement issued for 162 posts in various universities in November 2016 and include those posts in the new recruitment process. Jharkhand Public Service Commission has been preparing for this.
At present, the recruitment process of Assistant Professor in July 2018 is going on in the state universities. In this, the backlog posts are being filled, while the recruitment process will start on 552 regular posts from next month. At the same time, 162 applications were taken for Associate Professor (Associate Professor) in November-December 2016. It was postponed on 15 January 2019 due to unavoidable reasons. Due to the lapse of more than five years since the advertisement was released, the decision is being taken to cancel this advertisement. These posts will be included in the new recruitment process of Associate Professor. In this, many provisions are being changed and some exemptions will also be given. Presently 103 posts are vacant for direct appointment of Associate Professor in Ranchi University. In the advertisement released in 2016, advertisement was out on 36 posts. In five years, 67 posts have become vacant. Similarly, the vacancies of Associate Professors would have increased in other universities as well. For this re-numbering of vacant posts of Associate Professor is being sought from all the universities. Universities will have to give the number of posts to be vacant from 2017 to 2022. After this a new advertisement will be issued on the prescribed vacancies and the recruitment process will be started.
2030 posts of teachers are vacant in universities
– 2030 posts of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor are vacant in the state universities. Ranchi University, Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University, Kolhan University, Jamshedpur Women’s University, Vinoba Bhave University, Binod Bihari Mahto University, Nilamber Pitamber University and Sido Kanho University have 3732 sanctioned posts, in which 2030 posts are vacant. There are 4181 additional posts in universities, which have to be approved and appointed on them.
