CUCET 2022: To get admission in the top central universities of India, the students have to undergo the Center University Common Entrance Test conducted by the University Grants Commission. CUCET have to pass. In such a situation, the question is being seen in the minds of the students that how can one get admission in Central Universities through Common Entrance Test. Delhi University with the help of this entrance test (Delhi University, DU), Jawaharlal Nehru University (Jawaharlal Nehru University, JNU), Banaras Hindu University (Banaras Hindu University BHU)One can get admission in central universities like Visva Bharati University.
National Testing Agency (NTA) Will conduct this exam. NTA will also conduct the exam in different languages like English, Hindi, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu among many other regional languages. According to media reports, this CUCET will be conducted in the months of June-July.
What is CUCET?
Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is such an exam through which you get a chance to get admission in 18 central universities of the country. To take admission in the Central University, not only CUCET exam has to be given but also other entrance test for other courses has to be given by the university. To take admission in Central University, students first have to fill the application form.
CUCET will be a computer based test. It will have two sections. Let us inform that Delhi University Executive Council (EC) has approved to conduct CUCET for admission to its various UG programs from the academic year 2022 itself on 17th December itself.
The decision was taken under the new education policy
The Union Education Ministry had earlier announced that admission to universities would be on the basis of a common entrance test. The Union Education Ministry had constituted a committee to look into the modalities of CUCET for admission to all graduation courses in proposed central universities under the National Policy on Education (NEP) 2020.
From this year, Delhi University and Jawaharlal Nehru University have also announced the admission through CUCET. After which the number of universities participating in CUCET has increased. The Expert Committee of the University Grants Commission is finalizing the details. Along with this, the ministry is also coordinating with all 42 central universities.
