The application process for recruitment to these posts has been started from January 16.
According to the notification, for the recruitment of constable posts in Border Security Force, the candidate should have passed class 10th or equivalent examination from a recognized board. Also, the minimum height for male candidates of General, OBC, EWS and SC categories should be 167.5 cm and for female candidates 157 cm. Apart from this, the age of the candidate for recruitment to the constable posts should be between 18 years to 23 years. However, as per the government rules, there will be a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit for SC and ST category candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.
A total of 2788 vacancies of constable tradesman will be recruited through this process. In which, 2651 posts of male constable and 137 posts of female constable are included. Selected candidates on these posts will be given salary ranging from Rs 21700 to Rs 69100 per month under Pay Matrix Level 3. For detailed information candidates can check official notification.
Candidates will be selected for recruitment to these Group C posts on the basis of Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Documentation, Trade Test, Written Test and Medical Examination.
