UP School Reopen Update: As soon as the pace of corona infection slows down, the state government has made preparations to open schools and colleges from Monday. Its formal order will be issued on Sunday. There is a possibility that at present only students of classes above class nine will be called in educational institutions. Apart from this, the condition of taking care of the Kovid protocol will remain.
Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Kumar Awasthi said that the idea of opening a school-college is being considered from Monday. Earlier, due to the third wave of Corona, the state government had issued instructions to close all educational institutions by February 6. During this period, schools and colleges were only allowed to conduct online classes. The government had earlier issued an order to keep all educational institutions closed from January 4 to January 16 for the prevention of corona infection. Later, orders were issued to keep it closed till 23 January, then 30 January and 6 February. However, winter vacation was already declared in the primary schools of the state till January 14. These schools were closed after the winter break due to the spread of Corona. With some restrictions, more people can be allowed to attend the wedding ceremony.

A government official said that schools and colleges will be opened under the guidelines of the central government. Under this, the condition of keeping the school premises clean, following social distancing and wearing a mask will be mandatory. There will also be a condition of not organizing crowd gathering programs in the school. Earlier, the government had vaccinated the staff and teachers by running a campaign. Since the statement of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, it was being expected that now schools and colleges will be opened. In a meeting of BJP office bearers in Gorakhpur, Yogi Adityanath had said that the third wave of corona has been controlled properly. Now schools and colleges can also be opened.
Schools can open in Bihar from February 7:
A meeting of the Disaster Management Group was held on Friday under the chairmanship of State Chief Secretary Amir Subhani regarding the restrictions implemented in Bihar regarding Corona infection. In this, there was a deep brainstorming from February 7 regarding the opening of schools and colleges and relaxation in other restrictions. A final decision on this will be taken before February 7.
Status of other states:
Schools, colleges and coaching institutes in Delhi will reopen from February 7. First from 7th February, the children of class 9th to 12th will be called to school. Schools will open from February 14 for classes Nursery to 8th. However, online classes will also continue. Before Delhi, schools have opened in Rajasthan, Haryana, Jharkhand, Pune, Bangalore, Madhya Pradesh. Schools in Uttarakhand are going to open from February 7.
Schools fully opened in 11 states, closed in 9: Education Ministry
Officials of the Union Education Ministry said on Thursday that schools are fully open in 11 states. At the same time, schools for higher classes are partially open in 16 states and are still closed in nine states.
