Doctors had also demanded to postpone the examination
In a letter sent to NBEMS Executive Director Dr M Bajpai, Dr B Srinivas ADG (Medical Education) and MCC member secretary, it has been said that an appeal was made by the medical doctors to postpone the NEET-PG 2022 examination. The main reason behind this was the date clash with NEET-PG 2021 counselling. Srinivas said that many interns will not be able to participate in the counseling of 2022 till May-June. Due to this also the decision was taken to postpone the examination. He said, ‘Keeping all these things in mind, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has decided to postpone NEET-PG 2022 by 6 to 8 weeks.’
