Raghav completed his B.Com degree after Intermediate. Then took admission in MBA. After completing his MBA, he decided to prepare for UPSC and went to Delhi for coaching. After coaching for about 6 months, he returned to Ludhiana and decided to do self-study. They believe that even if you do coaching or not, you will have to do hard work and self-study. He made all the efforts of UPSC while staying in his city and also achieved success in the third attempt.
Raghav went through the phase of despair
When Raghav took the UPSC exam for the first time, he cleared the pre-exam, but got stuck in the mains. In the second attempt, he failed in the pre-exam, due to which his confidence became very low. During this, he decided not to take the exam in future. However, family and friends supported him and convinced him to try one more time. In the third attempt, his luck favored and his dream of becoming an IAS officer came true. They say that in times of failure, if your family is standing together, it helps a lot to get out of a hopeless situation.

Raghav’s advice to other candidates
According to Raghav, to get success in UPSC, you have to study every subject very deeply. Taking any subject lightly here can prove to be harmful for you. Make a schedule according to your syllabus and work hard. Go through the previous year question papers and plan your strategy accordingly. Raghav believes that you should talk to your family members from time to time and motivate yourself. Especially when you are in a phase of failure. They say that the support of friends is also necessary.
