National Medical Commission (National Medical Commission) on Sunday issued new guidelines for the determination of fees and all other charges in respect of 50 percent seats in private medical colleges and deemed universities. He has told that the private medical college (Private Medical Colleges) of 50 per cent seats of the Government Medical College of the concerned State or Union Territory (Government Medical Colleges) would be equal to. This means that now students will be able to study medicine at less cost.
News agency ANI said, in the new guidelines of the National Medical Commission (NMS New Guidelines for Medical Seats), it has been said, ‘After extensive deliberation, it has been decided that private medical colleges and deemed universities ( The fees for 50 percent seats in Deemed Universities Fee should be equal to the fees of government medical colleges of that particular state and union territory. For a long time there was a demand to reduce the medical fees.
Which students will get benefit?
The National Medical Commission has said, ‘The benefit of this fee structure will first be given to those candidates who have secured government quota seats. But that limit will be limited to 50 per cent of the total sanctioned number of seats in the concerned Medical College or Deemed University. The guidelines state that if the government quota seats are less than 50 per cent of the total sanctioned seats, then the remaining candidates will get the benefit of fees equal to the government medical college fees on the basis of merit.
