Bumper restoration is going to happen soon in Jharkhand. On the one hand, the way has been cleared for the appointment of 552 regular posts of assistant professors in universities. On the other hand, JSSC will recruit 1004 more junior engineers in various departments.
The recruitment process of Assistant Professors will start in March. JPSC has started its preparation. Merit list will be prepared for the first applications. Merit list will be decided on the basis of their educational qualification, experience. This will be followed by the process of certificate verification and interview. Its advertisement was removed in July 2018. Applications were also taken from the candidates but the appointment process was postponed in January 2019.
Restoration has been done on 499 posts of backlog: The appointment process was also stopped for 556 backlog posts of Assistant Professor, but later it was started again in December 2019 and so far 499 posts have been appointed. After releasing the results of commerce and economics, the appointment will be recommended by the end of February. JPSC has released the result of Political Science subject in the backlog posts of Assistant Professor in Universities. 47 candidates have got success in it. Ranchi University has got eight, Sido Kanhu University has got 12, Vinoba Bhave University has got 14, Nilamber-Pitamber University has got four and Kolhan University has got nine assistant professors.
Posts increased for the appointment of JE: Here, JSAC has increased the number of posts for JE appointment. In the advertisement issued earlier, it was decided to start the recruitment of 285 posts. Now it has been increased to 1004 posts. On this basis now 1289 Junior Engineers will be appointed. For this, online applications will be taken from February 7. JSSC released the revised advertisement on Thursday. Vandana Dadel, Principal Secretary, Personnel Department, informed that the number of posts has increased after including the vacant posts of Junior Engineers of Water Resources, Road Construction and Drinking Water and Sanitation Department. Regular requisitions are being sent to JSSC and JPSC for appointments.
