UPTET: About three thousand objections have been received on the questions of Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UP-TET). The examination regulatory authority’s office had invited objections through the website till February 1. Objections have been received on 54 questions of primary level examination while 44 questions of upper primary level examination.
Secretary Examination Regulatory Authority Anil Bhushan Chaturvedi said that a committee of subject experts would be constituted on the objections received and resolved by February 21. The revised answer key will be uploaded on the website by February 23. After evaluation on the basis of the final answer key, the result will be declared by February 25.
According to sources, thousands of candidates had raised objections on the questions of TET. But there are about three thousand such people who have completed all the formalities while depositing the fees. Taking cognizance of these objections, the matter will be settled by the experts. Some of the questions that have been objected are those that were asked in 2017 as well. Those questions will be modified in accordance with the order of the High Court, while the remaining questions will be revised after taking votes from experts. More than 18 lakh candidates had appeared for the TET held on 23rd January.
