The CBT 2 examination to be held from February 15 for recruitment to 35,277 posts of Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) in Indian Railways has been postponed after huge protests by the candidates. Actually the candidates are unhappy with the result of CBT 1 and they are demanding the railways to improve it. Candidates say that in the CBT 2 of this recruitment, the Railways had given information about the inclusion of 20 times the total number of candidates in the notification. But, Railways has shortlisted the same candidate for multiple posts and the number of candidates who have qualified for CBT 2 has reduced significantly. After the release of the CBT 1 result by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), the candidates had also staged fierce protests in many cities of the country. After this, the Railways has constituted a high-level committee to solve the problems of the candidates while postponing the CBT 2 exam. Candidates can register their problems till February 16 with the understanding of this committee.
