The Education Minister said that in Ranchi, East Singhbhum, Chatra, Bokaro, Seraikela Kharsawan, Simdega and Deoghar, children of class IX and above can come to school. In the rest of the districts, schools are being opened for the students of classes 1 to 12. Students coming to school will need to bring written consent from the parents. Children will be able to come to school only with the consent of the parents. During classes in schools, students will follow the rules like mask and distance. Along with this, the Education Minister said that other examinations including matriculation and inter will be offline.

Mid-day meal will also be prepared in the primary schools of 17 districts of the state, where classes from 1st to 8th will be conducted.
