How different will the selection process be from SSC GD Constable:
Shortly before the CISF recruitment for the posts of constable/fireman, SSC had also recruited 25,271 posts of GD constables and 8464 posts of CISF constables were also in this recruitment. However, the selection process of both these recruitments is slightly different. Actually, in SSC GD Constable Recruitment, where the candidates had to first appear in the written examination and then after successful in it, PET, PST and document verification and medical test. At the same time, to get selected for the posts of CISF constable/fire, candidates will have to first appear in PET and PST. After successful in these procedures, candidates will be called for written test followed by document verification and medical test.

To apply for this recruitment, candidates must have passed class 12th or equivalent examination with science subject from a recognized board. Also, the minimum age of the candidates for recruitment to these posts has been fixed at 18 years and maximum age of 23 years.
