BPSSC Bihar Police SI Result 2022: The result of preliminary written examination conducted for recruitment to the posts of SI and Sergeant in Bihar Police has been released. Candidates can check their result by visiting the official website of Bihar Police Subordinate Service Commission, bpssc.bih.nic.in. The preliminary examination was conducted on December 26 for the posts of Inspector, 1998 and 215 posts of Sergeant. In this, about 6 lakh candidates had registered. Bihar Police Under Service Commission has uploaded the list of successful candidates on the website.
47900 candidates have been selected for the main examination for recruitment to the posts of Sub-Inspector and Sergeant. The written examination of 608736 candidates was conducted on December 26 in two shifts. In these, 223735 candidates appeared in the first shift exam and 226143 candidates appeared in the second shift exam.
In the examination of both the shifts, 433271 candidates were found eligible to release the result. Of these candidates, 265681 secured more than 30% marks. Whereas 167590 candidates secured less than 30 percent marks.

Know what was the cutoff
Successful candidates in the preliminary examination will be given a chance to appear in the main examination. Merit list of finally successful candidates will be prepared reservation category wise on the basis of marks obtained in main written examination. In the event of two or more candidates securing equal marks in the written examination, their place in the merit list will be determined on the basis of their date of birth i.e. the candidate senior in age will be higher in the order of merit. In the case of two or more candidates securing the same marks and having the same date of birth, their place in the merit list will be determined on the basis of their educational qualification, i.e. the candidate with higher educational qualification will be ranked higher in the order of merit.
After releasing the result of the preliminary examination, the Police Under Service Commission has started preparing for the main examination of Inspector and Sergeant. If the corona infection continues to spread at this rapid rate, then the main examination may be delayed. If the situation improves, the commission will conduct the main examination without wasting any time.
