After the release of the notification for this vacancy, now a total of 68 vacancies have been received from two departments. These vacancies have been added to the vacancies of the said competitive examination. Among the posts which have been added are Inspector of Prisons, Inspectorate of Prisons and Correctional Services, Home Department, Labor Enforcement Officer, Labor Resource Department. The commission had earlier released vacancies for 555 seats. The seats of this vacancy were again increased to 726. Now in this 68 seats have been increased and the total number of vacancies has been increased to 794.

Selection Process
Prelims Exam- There is a multiple choice paper of 150 marks.
Mains Exam- There are 4 descriptive papers out of which 1 is qualifying + 3 is merit ranking paper.
Interview round- It is of 120 marks.
After passing these three stages, you will be selected on the basis of the final list on the post selected by you. Through this examination, recruitment will be done on the posts of Rural Development Officer (VDO), Municipal Executive Officer and Bihar Administrative Service.
