UPSC Civil Services Exam: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the marks of those candidates of Civil Services Exam 2020 who had given the interview and unfortunately their final selection could not be done. UPSC has released the name, marks, roll number, date of birth, home address, educational qualification and email ID of these candidates on its official website upsc.gov.in. This UPSC list contains the details of only those candidates who have reached the interview round who opted to make their details public in the application form. UPSC has released the Marks (Total Marks out of 2025) of 964 such candidates.
Let us tell you that the final result of Civil Services Examination 2020 was released on September 24, according to which a total of 761 candidates have been recommended for appointment for 836 vacancies. The result of the reserve list for the remaining posts was released later in which 75 candidates were recommended.

According to the order of the Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India, the marks of the selected candidates have been issued for the interview. This will help various other companies and employers to build a database of eligible candidates. Under this disclosure scheme, other companies will be able to find eligible candidates with the help of this database. Employers will check the marks and details of the candidates from this database and will offer them jobs. In such a situation, the candidates who participate in the interview can get a private job offer.
Selection is done through UPSC Civil Services for Indian Administrative Services (IAS), Indian Police Services (IPS) and Indian Foreign Services (IFS), Railway Group A (Indian Railway Accounts Service) among other services. UPSC Civil Services exam is conducted every year in three phases–preliminary, main exam and interview–. Final merit list is released on the basis of performance in main exam and interview.
