UPSC IAS Civil Services exam 2022: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification for Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2022. The notification contains details of application window, eligibility criteria, exam pattern and number of recruitments. Let us tell you, this year 861 vacancies have been removed in the Civil Services Examination. The Civil Services Prelims exam will be held on 5th June 2022. Let’s know the pattern of prelims exam
The Prelims exam consists of Paper-I and II. In which objective type and multiple choice questions are asked which are of total 400 marks. In Paper-II of General Knowledge, a candidate needs a minimum of 33 per cent marks to pass.
For wrong answer to a question, one third of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted. Let us tell you, the questions in Paper-I come from seven different exam areas, which are given below.
1) Science and Technology
2) History and Culture
3) Geography
4) Indian Politics
5) Indian Economy
6) Environment and Ecology
7) Current events of national and international importance
UPSC CSE Prelims 2022 is scheduled for June 5, 2022. Both General Knowledge Paper and Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) will be conducted on the same day. There is a gap between the two papers. Hence, students are advised to prepare in such a way that they can solve each paper efficiently. To be sure, it is important to solve mock tests in the same schedule as the prelims paper.
