In Rajasthan, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president Dr. Satish Poonia has accused the Congress government of the state of not being clear about its intention, saying that it is not expected to take decisions in a transparent manner in the Teacher Eligibility Test (REET) case. In such a situation, the investigation of the case should be done by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Dr. Poonia said this to the media on the occasion of participating in a sit-in demonstration program organized at the Collectorate in protest against the police lathi-charge on the workers of BJP Yuva Morcha during the demonstration in Bharatpur and in Jaipur on Tuesday. He said that the ret rigging case kept coming to the fore and in this case 35 people have been arrested and sacked but more names are being taken in this, they should also be sacked.
He said that only one accused’s property was bulldozed to show but all the people involved in this case should be slapped with Rasuka and bulldozers should be used on their property. He said that the intention of the government in this matter is not clear. Referring to the Alwar Demented Girl Child case, he said that look into this matter itself and this government is not expected to take a decision in a transparent manner, in such a situation, the investigation of the REIT case should be done by the CBI.
He participated in the BJP’s sit-in demonstration program and raised slogans against the state government, demanding justice to the youth, waiving farmers’ loans and improving law and order in the state.
Reet exam should be canceled and conducted by any other agency instead of Rajasthan Board.
As part of the statewide call in Ajmer, Rajasthan, a protest was organized by the BJP city to demand a CBI inquiry into the Reet 2021 paper leak case and protest against the police lathi-charge on the BJP Yuva Morcha in Jaipur. Workers under the leadership of state spokesperson and Ajmer MLA Anita Bhadel raised slogans against the Congress government of the state and Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot at the India Motor Circle intersection of Ajmer and expressed their anger and demanded to cancel the REET exam and get it investigated by the CBI. Former minister and MLA Vasudev Devnani raised slogans in the demonstration. Devnani demanded cancellation of the REET exam and got it conducted by some other agency instead of the examination board. City President Dr. Priyashil Hada, Former President Arvind Yadav, Former City Improvement Trust President Dharmesh Jain and a large number of BJP workers were present in the demonstration.
Bhadel said that till justice is not done in the REIT case, the BJP’s agitation and protest will continue. He said that after the REET exam paper was out and the name of Congress-backed organization Rajiv Gandhi Steady Circle surfaced in it, a high-level CBI inquiry has become necessary so that big fish can also come to the fore. In this the Congress government is under suspicion. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot should resign.
