UP Assembly Elections 2022: The candidate for Sarojini Nagar seat was announced by the Bharatiya Janata Party. But the minister of state Swati Singh, who is claiming here, got cut. The party has fielded former ED director Rajeshwar Singh from here. Rajeshwar Singh is the husband of Lucknow Range IG Laxmi Singh. Both husband Dayashankar Singh and his wife Swati Singh were contending for the Sarojini Nagar seat.
After not getting ticket from BJP, Swati Singh is and will remain a part of BJP. He said that I respect the decision of the party too. She further said that my soul is the Bharatiya Janata Party, I will continue to campaign for the party. Swati Singh said that I am a part of BJP and this party has never taken a wrong decision. His vision is to take the country forward. She said that I have been associated with the party since I was 17 years old. Thanks to the central and state leadership who gave responsibility for five years.

He said that he will fulfill the responsibility that will be given in future also and will represent half the population even further. At present, I am the MLA there, it is my responsibility. My lifelong responsibility is to work for what I get.

On the reason for the ticket being cut, he said that the leadership must have thought of something good. He said that no worker should question the party’s decision. Even when I got the ticket, someone’s ticket was cut. Why should I speak on someone who is saying something? We will work as per the order of the party. He further said that every time we have worked hard for the party. I am absolutely happy with my work.
