You can become a policeman only if you get 40% marks in the Tamil language qualifying examination in the police examination; Selection Board Notice

TNUSRB announces Tamil paper is mandatory for police exam: As the Tamil qualifying examination has been made compulsory in the police service, the Uniformed Personnel Selection Board has said that a candidate can pass only if he / she gets at least 40% marks in the Tamil qualifying examination.

There is a separate mavusu for police posts in Tamil Nadu. For most young people the dream is to put on pants. With the announcement of police posts coming out soon, thousands of young people are preparing for the police exam.

Vacancies in the Tamil Nadu Police are being filled by the Tamil Nadu Uniformed Personnel Selection Board through competitive examinations. Due to the shortage of police personnel in the Tamil Nadu Police Department, a notice has been issued to fill those vacancies.

In this regard, the Uniformed Personnel Selection Board has issued an important announcement. Accordingly, the Tamil language qualifying examination has been made compulsory in the police examination. Therefore, you can become a policeman only if you get 40% marks in the Tamil language qualifying examination.

The Uniformed Personnel Selection Board has laid down certain rules in the written examination for the post of Police and Assistant Inspector.

Accordingly, it has been declared compulsory to pass the Tamil examination in the written examination for the post of Police. Therefore, the written test for the post of guard will be evaluated only if 40% marks are obtained in the Tamil language qualifying examination.

Thus the selection for the post of guard will take place in two papers. The Tamil exam will be conducted for 80 marks. It has been informed that you can go to the next round only if you pass with at least 40 percent marks in the Tamil exam.

Also the 2nd paper will be held as usual. That is, 50 questions will be asked in the general knowledge section and 30 questions in the psychology section.

Earlier, the Tamil Nadu government had announced a few months ago that it was mandatory to know the Tamil language to join government services in Tamil Nadu. It also said that the Tamil language paper has been made mandatory in all competitive examinations conducted by examination agencies in order to recruit 100% Tamil Nadu youth in all posts in Tamil Nadu government departments.

Consequently, in the DNBSC examinations, the general English paper has been removed and only the general Tamil paper has been made the qualifying and evaluation examination. Accordingly, a minimum of 40% marks in the compulsory Tamil language paper is required. The government had said that the other exam papers of those who did not pass would not be evaluated.

In this situation, the Tamil language paper is compulsory in the police qualification examination. Therefore, those who are preparing for the Police Examination should know the syllabus for the Tamil Language Qualification Examination and prepare accordingly.
