Bihar Police SI Result Cut Off : Bihar Under Police Service Commission (BPSSC) has released the result of preliminary written examination of Inspector (SI) and Sergeant on its official website bpssc.bih.nic.in. The cut-off marks for male candidates of general category is 61.5 percent (123 marks) and for women is 48.4% (96.8 marks). The cutoff marks for male candidates of EWS category is 57.1 percent (114.2 marks) and for women is 40.8% (81.6 marks).

Successful candidates in the preliminary examination will be given a chance to appear in the main examination. Merit list of finally successful candidates will be prepared reservation category wise on the basis of marks obtained in main written examination. In the event of two or more candidates securing equal marks in the written examination, their place in the merit list will be determined on the basis of their date of birth i.e. the candidate senior in age will be higher in the order of merit. In the case of two or more candidates securing the same marks and having the same date of birth, their place in the merit list will be determined on the basis of their educational qualification, i.e. the candidate with higher educational qualification will be ranked higher in the order of merit.
