Corona spread began to increase again in mid-December due to the Omigron threat in Tamil Nadu. Schools and colleges were closed to prevent the spread of the virus. Subsequently, the opening date of schools and colleges was postponed due to the curfew that came into force.
Schools are open today (February 1) as the corona infection has begun to subside. From 1st grade to 12th grade, live classes are held. At the same time, the school education department said that it is not mandatory to come to school as there are also plans to conduct online classes.
In this regard, the Department of Examinations has released a revised new schedule for 10th and 12th class students.
Earlier it was planned to hold a diversion exam in mid-January. But, due to corona curfew, the exam date was postponed.
With the cancellation of the quarterly and half-yearly examinations due to the Corona epidemic, this is the biggest choice that students will face before the general examination.
Accordingly, the first phase diversion examination for Class X will be held from February 9 to 15. The second round of rehearsals will take place from March 28 to April 4.
The first phase diversion exam for Class XII will be held from February 9th to 16th. The second round of diversion will be held from March 28 to April 5.
The examination for 10th class students will be held from 10 am to 1 pm and the examination for 12th class students will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm.
The Department of School Education has advised students to adhere to the Corona Guidelines.
