Last week, the Department of Higher Education announced that online semester exams would be held for all year students except final year students due to the Corono spread in Tamil Nadu.
Accordingly, Anna University yesterday released the semester examination schedule for B.E., B.Tech., B.Arch., Courses for engineering college students. It was announced that the elections would be held in the morning and evening from February 1 to the first week of March.
Confusion arose among the students as to how the online examination would be conducted. In order to solve this, a guideline has been issued to write the semester exams from where the students were.
Accordingly, students can take the exam online from home. At the beginning of the exam, the students’ WhatsApp number, email, Google Meet, etc. will be sent to the question papers.
Students have to write the answer for the 3 hour semester exam on A4 paper. Within 1 hour of the completion of the examination, the answer sheets should be sent to the colleges in PDF format by email or WhatsApp.
In particular, the answer sheets should include the registration number, name, course code and subject name on each page of the question paper.
In addition, the answer sheets written by the students should be sent to the colleges by courier or post within 1 week of the completion of each course. It has been reported that the answer sheets will not be evaluated by the sender.
Similarly, it should be noted that the answer sheet evaluation will be done only if the answer sheets sent by the students via email, WhatsApp and the answer sheets sent by post or courier are the same.
Aryan students are advised to contact the colleges where they last studied to obtain a hall ticket for the examination.
